We can't wait to celebrate with you so soon 🤍 Below are a few helpful updates as we get closer to the big day:
The Zola website was giving us a ton of issues, so instead — to communicate — we just quickly popped up this website and will be posting messages here!
Rain on the wedding day#
As you may have seen, there is a chance of rain this week. In the event of rain on the wedding day, please bring an umbrella for the short walk (just a minute or two) from the drop-off point to the venue, to keep your outfits protected.
A note for the ladies — bring a change of shoes#
Ladies — feel free to bring a change of shoes! The venue includes grass and cobblestone, so a comfortable second pair may come in handy.
POV — our shared photo app#
We've set up a fun photo-sharing app called POV. Each guest gets 25 photos, and they'll be shared instantly with the whole group. No retakes — so make them awesome!
You can start uploading from now until May 2, so feel free to take pictures of your travels along the way too.
(There's also a dedicated POV Camera page on this site with a QR code if that's easier.)
Schedule updates#
Thursday, April 30 — Welcome Party begins at 6:30 PM on the rooftop terrace at Hotel Promessi Sposi. If weather impacts the location within the hotel, we'll keep you posted.
Friday, May 1 — Wedding Day! Buses will depart from Hotel Promessi Sposi at 4:30 PM to transport guests to the venue. Please be on time, as taxis are limited and likely unavailable last minute in the Lecco area.
We are so excited to have everyone together in Italy — it means the world to us. See you very soon!
